Living an involuntary hermit's life. Working towards living a healthier, gluten-free, hopefully cancer free life with my 2 dogs, 3 chickens and loving family.

Living with intention

When stumbling through life isn't good enough anymore..... decide to be yourself and enjoy life, and pay attention to Gods gifts all around.

Bullet Points

I started this blog in February of 2010 after battling Rectal Cancer for a year.  Because of many, many surgeries, chemo and radiation treatment and the cancer itself, leaving home and going out to live a "normal" life is rare and a treat.  I must eat gluten free and have many food issues.

I live with my husband LL, and I have three grown children, Kane, Bailey, and Max who has Autism.  I spend my days with my two companions, Beau and Rufus who are devoted to me and I appreciate the company.  Also, I am less lonely on my days stuck at home because of the ladies, Harriet, Henrietta, and Hannah, my chickens.

I call being stuck at home Involuntary Hermitage.  My goal with my days and this blog is to live with intention which to me means not taking even the little joys in life for granted.
