Living an involuntary hermit's life. Working towards living a healthier, gluten-free, hopefully cancer free life with my 2 dogs, 3 chickens and loving family.

Living with intention

When stumbling through life isn't good enough anymore..... decide to be yourself and enjoy life, and pay attention to Gods gifts all around.

The Perfect Day

Well almost. To be perfect it would include spending it with my family, but they are at work or school. I am on my own but the day has been lovely so far. If I believed in jinxes I wouldn't be blogging this because the day is only half done but I have time now to write and I don't believe in jinxes.

Why is it almost perfect? Well, for many reasons.

I had plenty of time with my LL drinking coffee to start our day. I got some work done. Had more coffee and visited with my sister Kris. Came back home got my work done, made banana bread, had lunch, and have the rest of the day to do what ever I want.

Since my "digestion" is cooperating today, so far I have done this............................

TIP TOED THROUGH THE TULIPS

AND SMELLED THE LILACS

THEY ARE MY TWO FAVORITE FLOWERS AND BOTH ARE IN BLOOM RIGHT NOW

I TOOK THE TIME TO PICK SOME AND PUT THEM IN VASES

THE WOMAN IN THE MIDDLE OF PICTURE IS MY GRANDMOTHER AT ABOUT 13yrs old

THEN TOOK A WALK TO THE LIBRARY AND FOUND LOTS OF BOOKS

AND NOW INSTEAD OF DOING YARD WORK OR SOME OTHER WORTH WHILE PROJECT, I AM GOING TO READ AND NOT FEEL GUILTY.

Simple life that I live. But on days like today, I feel nothing but blessed.

Reading is a totally productive endeavor! I wish I had more time for it.
