Todays post will be a little different because it's not written by Konnie. I am Konnie's husband and I thought I should let you all know that Konnie is in the hospital awaiting surgery. I took her to the emergency room Wednesday night after she bagan vomitting and having severe abdominal pain. Her doctor ran a few tests and found some small intestinal blockages that are most likely caused by her past surgeries and by the radiation treatments she had last year. We have been aware that this day may come but had really prayed that it could be avoided. The doctor said the surgery will be a major one with the potential of removing sections of her bowel. The suregry is scheduled tomorow afternoon and will last 3 to 5 hours. When she is feeling better I'll take her laptop to her and see if she can keep her blog updated. If you are a believer, please pray for Konnie's speady recovery, if your not, I would appreciate positive thoughts. Thanks Cole (LL)
