Costa Rica-Answer

Lisa, you are right, it strains coffee. It is a coffee maker. Pam said her hosts (she actually stayed in two different private homes) used these to make coffee I guess one cup at a time. She said the coffee was more like espresso. I would like to try it but don't want to ruin the "cuteness" of it.
