How great today is. Last year on this day, I had my last chemo treatment. This is the date they start your remission countdown. With my type of cancer, after 5 years you are cured but with this type of cancer, 3rd anniversary is the big one because my kind of cancer almost never comes back after 3 years.
So Happy 1 year cancer free Konnie!!!!
I wish I had pictures of me during my chemo. I don't, so you can't see my progress, so I am posting a whole bunch of pictures of me in various stages of recovery from treatments and surgeries since starting the blog.

I too had cancer, 12 yrs ago. I had Thyroid cancer,though.
I had 2 surgeries, and one round of radiation, that made me pretty sick, took about a year to get myself back in shape and functioning.
