A Day In The Life-Afternoon

Start by going down two posts and work up to here. Thanks.......This below is my afternoon and evening. It is spring break so things were slightly different but my "digestion" was fine today, so my day was more like a normal person........Yeah!!

11:00-1200 Came home and unloaded groceries. Gave chickens a snack. Cleaned up kitchen. Start second load of towels.....I forgot to mentioned the first earlier.
12:00-1:00 My daughter started making pan cookies while I made chicken salad from left over roasted chicken. Here is the recipe.
Chicken Salad
1 cup or a little more of chopped chicken
1 celery stalk
1/2 cup grapes halved
1/8-1/4 cup walnuts
1/4-1/3 cup miracle whip
salt and pepper to taste
Ate chicken sandwich and chips while watching noon news.
1:00-3:00 Put clean straw in chicken coop, collected eggs (my ladies gave me three today) Started third load of towels. Wiped kitchen and both bathroom's counters and empty all garbage's. Dusted and vacuumed master bedroom. Pictured down below.
3:00-4:15 Took Beau for another walk. My daughter and her boyfriend went also. Was suppose to be short but we ended up visiting with a good friend for a while. Those unexpected visits are the best.
4:15-5:00 Started dinner. Made steak that was on sale last week. Rice and salad from all the vegetables that I bought today on sale. Folded third and last load of towels. I don't know how I got so behind.
5:00-7:00 While everyone else ate (I am trying to eat only one meal a day, look at earlier post) I downloaded pictures, read other people's blog, and wrote previous posting about my day.
7:00-9:30 Hubby, my daughter, her boyfriend and I watched The Blind Side. Great movie! I would recommend it to practically everyone.
And now I am blogging. This was a day in my life. I am very happy that I can be so active after being left so weak last year. I hope to get stronger and stronger. Tomorrow is more chores and the library. I want to blog about my little town that I love so much. Lot's of ideas for posts in the future, just by paying attention today for this post. What a blessing!
