Living an involuntary hermit's life. Working towards living a healthier, gluten-free, hopefully cancer free life with my 2 dogs, 3 chickens and loving family.

Living with intention

When stumbling through life isn't good enough anymore..... decide to be yourself and enjoy life, and pay attention to Gods gifts all around.

I have an idea

As I said in my last post. I want to have a purpose, even when I physically can't do much. I like Renee's suggestion of reading everything I have been wanting to read, and watch old shows. I also have an idea. On days that I physically can't get anything done, I am going to work on a series of posts for the future. It is something I have been thinking about doing for a while.

I want to do a three part series of posts comparing my life as a woman, mother and wife, to my mother's life as a woman, mother and wife. I also want to compare our lives to my grandmother's. I think it will be interesting to see how certain chores, priorities, values have changed through the years in the lives of three woman of three different generations, all in the same family.

Sorry about the blurriness. Grandma is the one on the right.

I want to take my time with this. It will require scanning old pictures and talking to my mother about her memories raising us kids and her memories of what it was like for my grandma. I want this written down for my kids to have in the future.

So I will continue post about my days like usual, but on rough days, one of the things I will work on is my generation posts. I am looking forward to learning a bit more about my mom and grandma.

All good ideas. I think the post about the comparisons would be very interesting!
